Village Green are conscious of the increased financial pressure on our tenants at this current time and are in the process of exploring options around renewable energy on our HMO and larger residential property portfolio.
Whilst we appreciate this project is not going to deliver immediate tangible cost results, in part due to a number of internal and external factors including the associated time-scales, this has been undertaken in parallel to taking immediate steps to review our portfolios EPC reports.
Where we identify EPC reports of concern to us, using a thorough assessment process, we will seek to make improvements to improve the efficiency and obtain a higher-level EPC rating. Our primary objective is to assist our tenants with their rising energy costs but a secondary objective is to enhance our portfolio and reduce our on-going maintenance costs.
